Rajasthan CM Face: Former Chief Minister of the state and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has criticized the fact that BJP, which won the Rajasthan Assembly elections, has not chosen the CM even after seven days of the election results.Ashok Gehlot accused Bharatiya Janata Party of indiscipline. He remarked that if we had delayed the selection of the CM so much, we cannot tell how much criticism he would have made and how many lies he would have propagated.

Gehlot said- BJP leaders won by lying to the people

Gehlot further said that BJP leaders won by lying to the people, but they will cooperate with the new government. Gehlot had come to Delhi to attend a review meeting organized by the party high command to discuss the reasons for the Congress party’s defeat in Rajasthan. When he addressed the media on this occasion, he made this comment. The former Rajasthan CM alleged that BJP came to power by instigating communal clashes in three states. He accused BJP of spreading false propaganda like triple talaq, removal of Article 370, murder of Kanhaiyalal, giving Rs 50 lakh to Muslims and Rs 5 lakh to Hindus and taking advantage by lying to the people.

BJP’s counterattack

Responding to Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan BJP state president CP Joshi said that Gehlot has forgotten that day in 2018 when it took 16 days for the Congress (Rajasthan) to decide the Chief Minister and form the government after the election results. He said that I want to ask Gehlot why Congress has not been able to decide the Leader of Opposition till now, Gehlot should worry about his family. Joshi said that BJP is strong.

All of them are at the forefront of the race for the post of CM.

At present there are speculations that Vasundhara Raje is the frontrunner for the post of Chief Minister. Apart from Raje, who won the assembly elections from Jhalrapatan seat, former Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and minister Arjun Meghwal and party MPs Baba Balaknath and Diya Kumari, who won, are among the contenders for the chief minister’s post. Meanwhile, the BJP on Friday appointed central observers for the election of leaders of its legislative parties in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Defense ministers Rajnath Singh, Vinod Tawde and Saroj Pandey have been named observers for the border state.
