The difference in seats between the BJP and the Congress was very less and the difference in vote share was only 1 percentage point. The performance of Congress was poor in 9 districts. In the 49 seats that came under it, the party got only 10 seats. These districts include Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Bundi, Pali, Sirohi, Jhalawar and Jalore. In 2018 elections, Congress could not win even a single seat from Pali, Sirohi and Jhalawar. However, independent MLA Sanyam Lodha from Sirohi had given his support to the Congress.

Leaders belonging to Gehlot and Pilot faction will not be given tickets: Randhawa

Randhawa is looking very serious at this time to end the rhetoric going on between Pilot and Gehlot in Rajasthan. Regarding this, he has given instructions to take action against the leaders who make statements. On the other hand, he has said that this time ticket distribution will be done on the basis of report card of MLAs. The survey of the party has been done in all the areas. After this the report card has to be prepared. A report card will be prepared on subjects such as the penetration of the candidates among the general public and the voters, their activism in the field and association with the workers. Which will decide the future of the leaders in the coming assembly elections. It is also being said that the seats where the Congress is losing, candidates will be declared earlier this time. This will give enough time for promotion. Leaders belonging to Gehlot faction and Pilot faction will not be given tickets on these seats. Tickets will be given only to those who have a fair, unblemished image and stay away from factionalism.
