According to the information, the victim woman had set up a shop at the Gautameshwar fair. On Saturday evening, the woman’s husband Bhavani Shankar brought a bike from somewhere. He took out petrol from the bike and sprinkled it on his wife and set her on fire. After this the accused ran away from the bike. The people around were shocked to see this. The people present there extinguished the fire with great difficulty. After this, the people of the fair committee took the victim to Pratapgarh District Hospital for treatment. This incident was carried out in front of hundreds of people. Since the victim had suffered more than 80 per cent burns, after first aid the doctors shifted her to hospital for better treatment. There, Bhavani Shankar Sikaligar, a resident of Piplya Mandi in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, had also set up a shop along with his mother and wife Kamla.
