Punjab News: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has attacked the Bhagwant Maan government of Punjab. Actually, after meeting Governor Banwari Lal Purohit in Chandigarh, Navjot Singh Sidhu met the media. During this, he raised the issue of electricity in the state and targeted CM Mann. He said that the electricity situation in the state is very bad. Sidhu said that Punjab is purchasing electricity worth Rs 30,000 crore at an average of Rs 12 per unit. At the same time, in the market it is Rs 2.5 or Rs 3 per unit.
‘Punjab is buying electricity at Rs 21 in peak season’
Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu alleged that Punjab is buying electricity at Rs 19 or Rs 21 during the peak season. Cornering the Aam Aadmi Party of Punjab, he further said that you had said that you will cancel the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) as soon as you come to power. This year again PSPL (Punjab State Power Corporation Limited) is in loss of Rs 5000 crore. Sidhu said that this is a collapsing government system. It will collapse and a financial emergency is bound to happen. Sidhu said that Bhagwant Mann is the CM of newspapers and advertisements and nothing else.
