The CBI had said that during the searches, an amount of Rs 16.57 lakh, 88 foreign currency notes and incriminating documents were recovered. Gajjanamajra is one of the seven people and companies named as accused in the bank fraud case. bank fraud

The CBI probe was conducted following a complaint against Gajjanmajra’s firm at Gaunspura in Malerkotla by a branch of Bank of India in Ludhiana. The bank’s complaint said that through its directors, the firm had concealed the mortgaged stock and diverted the book loans with a false and dishonest intention so that it could be handed over to the creditor bank for inspection and recovery as a secured creditor.
