In this episode, BSF jawans have recovered four and a half kilos of heroin in Maharkheva Mansa village of Fazilka.

According to media reports, BSF Punjab Frontier was quoted as saying that on the night of April 12-13, BSF personnel deployed along the Indian border spotted a suspicious drone and after that they took immediate action and fired at it. After the firing, a search operation was conducted in the area. During this, 4.560 kg of heroin was recovered from a field near Maharkheva Mansa village. Along with this, a search operation is still being conducted in the area, lest any other object has been sent through this drone.

Earlier last month also heroin was dropped from a drone near Toor village in Punjab’s Amritsar district. However, this heroin was seized by BSF personnel. Also, he told about this that 6.275 kg of heroin has been seized from Toor village in Amritsar district. The heroin was dropped there with the help of a drone, but BSF personnel spotted it and seized it. Apart from this, an unregistered motorbike has also been seized by BSF personnel from the area.

At the same time, another case was seen in Fazilka, Punjab. Pakistani drone was found here during a joint operation by BSF and police. During this, SSP Fazilka Kaur told that this drone has fallen on the ground due to some fault. However, no heroin consignment has been recovered from this drone.
