Nadbai Municipality was installing idols at three places in Nadbai area. A committee was also formed for this. Under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Sanwarmal Verma, the committee decided that Maharaja Surajmal’s statue will be installed at Kumher square, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s statue at Bailada square and Lord Parshuram’s statue at Nagar square. However, there was a demand from the local people that the main intersection of Nadbai is Ballara, so a statue of Maharaja Suraj Mal should be installed at Ballara intersection. In view of this demand, people had also staged a protest.

To end this dharna, Minister Vishvendra Singh had given a statement that what you want will happen, end the dharna. However, a press conference was held on this issue on Wednesday and Minister Vishvendra Singh gave a statement that a statue of Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar should be installed at Bailarda intersection and Maharaja Surajmal at Dehra Mod intersection.
