News2News.in News Jind. A person traveling in a car was killed in a collision between a Punjab Roadways bus and a car on the Jind Rohtak National Highway near village Kilajfargarh. Five people, including a child, were seriously injured in the accident, who have been taken to PGI Rohtak, where Sanjay, a resident of Rama Colony, and 15-year-old Varsha, a resident of Bohar, succumbed during treatment. The police is investigating the matter

According to the information, seven members of two families were returning from Kurad village in Kaithal district from a wedding ceremony and were going towards Rohtak. When the car reached near Kilajfargarh, a Punjab Roadways bus coming from the opposite side hit the car. The collision was so fierce that the car was blown away and the car driver died on the spot. Seeing the serious condition of the other six people in the car, PGI was taken to Rohtak.

The Punjab Roadways bus was going from Delhi to Jagrao in Punjab. After executing the incident, the roadways bus driver and conductor fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the Julana police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it to the Community Health Center of Julana and the seriously injured were taken to Rohtak PGI, where Sanjay, a resident of Rama Colony, and 15-year-old Varsha, a resident of Bohar, died. Out of which 32-year-old Sandeep, a resident of Bohar village, died on the spot while Rohtak resident Sanjay, his wife Santosh, sons Jatin and Dev, Bohar village residents Varsha and Ramkali were referred to Rohtak PGI.

One-way of the road became the reason for the accident

The work of four laning of NH-352 is going on near Pauli and Kilajfargarh in Julana. The road has been made one-way due to construction. Because of this, vehicles from both sides of the road move. Due to the new one-way road, the drivers drive their vehicles very fast, due to which the risk of accidents is continuously increasing. The road has been made one-way from Bhiwani branch canal near Pauli village to Jalebi Chowk in Kilajfargarh. Due to being one-way, there is a possibility of collision of vehicles face to face.

Julana station in-charge Samarjit said that the police had received information that a car and a Punjab Roadways bus collided near Kilajfargarh village. The police had reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The police have referred the deceased to Julana’s Community Health Center and the injured to Rohtak PGI. A girl and a man have died during the blast. Police have started investigation by registering a case against the unknown bus driver on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Sushil.
