News2News.in News. Jind. Jind Depot’s fleet is gradually getting stronger than before. Jind Depot received 10 new buses on Sunday. 9 buses reached Jind Depot on Saturday evening and one bus will reach Jind Depot by Monday.
Clearance of the nine buses that arrived at Jind Depot will begin on Monday. Currently, these new buses are used on long routes such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Panchkula, and buses running on long routes are dropped on local routes. 120 new buses would be added to the Jind depot by June, which would provide better transportation options for passengers.
Significantly, the Jind depot currently has fewer than 100 buses. Due to the lack of buses, road bus service is unavailable on long and rural routes. Although there were buses near the depot, buses used to run from Jind to Haridwar, Sriganganagar, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Patiala, Ludhiana, Palwal, Mathura but now most of these routes are closed. Passengers also face problems due to the lack of buses and non-resumption of long routes. In addition, the rural population suffers the most. The number of passengers on routes like Rohtak, Bhiwani is high, but the frequency of the buses is very low. Only a few buses operate on these routes after 7 p.m.
From the delivery of 85 buses, 10 new buses have been received
About a thousand buses are to be bought by the state government from Tata, and 85 buses are to be purchased from the Jind depot. Of these 85, 10 buses were allocated to the depot. The rest of the buses will also be available in the depot by June. In addition, HREC (Haryana Roadways Engineering Corporation) Gurugram 35 buses are being prepared, which will be gradually added to depots as they are completed. Altogether it can be said that the depot will receive 120 buses by June. After that, the number of buses will reach almost 200 and the bus fleet will be strengthened.
Front and rear seats are replaced on new buses
Some changes have been made to the new road buses that have arrived at the depot. The last seat is a wide and comfortable deluxe type, so that the driver can sleep during the night stay etc. in the bus or have a rest during the day. Passengers will have many more facilities in the new buses. In the new bus there was only one seat for the conductor on the driver’s side, but in the new buses there are two seats. Aside from that, Jind Depot’s traffic manager Virendrapal said buses will be deployed on the routes where the number of passengers is higher. More buses will be available in the Jind depot in the next two months, which will solve the problem of buses on almost all routes. Currently, the Jind depot has buses. Another bus will be available on Monday. The passengers must not have any difficulties.
