At the same time, on April 20 also, a drone from Pakistan fell in a field near the Attari-Wagah border of Amritsar. This drone fell near the machine harvesting wheat in Mahava Village near the border. On seeing this drone, the people working in the field informed the nearest police and BSF officials. On getting information about this, police and BSF officials seized the drone. Along with this, it is also being investigated that what was the purpose of this drone crossing the border and whether it dropped any drugs in India.

Even before this, heroin was dropped through a drone near Toor village in Punjab’s Amritsar district last month, but this heroin was seized by BSF personnel. Speaking on the matter, BSF officials said that 6.275 kg of heroin has been seized from near Toor village in Amritsar district. The heroin was dropped there with the help of a drone, but BSF personnel spotted it and seized it. Apart from this, an unregistered motorbike was also seized by BSF personnel from the area.
