In this episode, BSF jawans recovered a Chinese-made drone that came to India from Pakistan border near Shahzada village of Amritsar. A drone was seen coming from Pakistan late Friday night near BOP Mianwali of Tarn-Taran, Punjab on the border of India and Pakistan. After this, the soldiers of 101 battalion of BSF deployed in this district started firing on the drone and chased it away. After chasing this drone, Punjab Police and BSF personnel conducted a search operation in the entire area. In the recent few days, the incidents of sending drones from Pakistan side to India have increased a lot.
Even before this, on Monday, BSF and Punjab Police recovered a China-made drone near the international border of India and Pakistan in Fazilka district of Punjab. In this, the Indian Army and the Punjab Police foiled the nefarious designs of Pakistan. Pakistan constantly tries to send drugs and weapons to India through drones.
The movement of drones was also seen on the border of India and Pakistan on December 3. After which 103 battalion personnel had launched a search operation in the area. With this, the jawans started firing on it. The heroin that was dropped in the field from this drone was also recovered.
