To check the food items, the Food Safety Department team reached Satvik Dairy on Kolar Road on Wednesday, from where two samples of curd and toast were taken, while the shopkeeper did not have a food license. After which a case has been registered against the shopkeeper. The team did sampling from different shops in Lambakheda, Aradhana Nagar, Kolar Road, Golkhedi.
The team took samples of desi gram, mustard oil, moong dal peel and cumin from Suresh Provision Store located in Aradhana Nagar. Flour, tomato gravy from Triple A Enterprises Kolar Road, two packed namkeen from Pushp Bakery Kolar Road, Mawa Tikia, Besan from Krishna Restaurant Lambakheda and gram flour, chili powder, turmeric powder, urad dal from Namasvi Traders Lambakheda have been taken. Chief Food Safety Officer Devendra Dubey said that the food department team will check the products of the food traders daily.
9 domestic cylinders seized from tea stalls
The Food Department team seized 3 domestic gas cylinders from Surendra Tea Stall, 2 from Kailash Tea Stall, 2 from Bunty Tea Stall, 1 from Suraj Tea Stall and one from Aman Tea Stall around Vindhyachal Bhawan and Ballabh Bhawan on Wednesday. .
