Reva : The incidents of rape of minors are continuously increasing in Madhya Pradesh. Recently a minor was made a victim of lust in Ujjain. So now in Rewa also a 5th class student was raped. According to the information received, this incident took place in Garhi Chowki of Janeh police station area of Rewa, where a minor girl student was raped by a young man known to her. At present, after the complaint of the victim’s family, the police have registered a case against the accused and have started searching for the accused. Also, the treatment of the victim student is continuing in the hospital.
A young man known to me raped a student
According to the information received, this incident is said to have happened on Friday. When the student was returning home after finishing school. During this time, a young man known to her asked her to drop the girl home. On this the girl agreed and went with the accused youth. Taking advantage of this, the accused took the girl to a deserted place and raped her. After which the girl somehow reached home and informed her family about the incident. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police also started searching for the accused with immediate effect and he is being arrested and interrogated.
Family members demanded hanging of the accused
After this incident on Saturday, angry family members surrounded the post and created a ruckus. They were also demanding that the accused be taken out of the police post and handed over to them. In view of the uproar, a large number of police forces were present at the spot and calmed down the uproar by giving advice to the family members. But the girl’s family did not agree and asked the police to hang the accused and demolish his house. At present the condition of the girl is fine. The treatment of the 11 year old victim is continuing at Gandhi Smriti Hospital, Rewa.
