Relief to the people occupying the government land, thirty thousand families will get the ownership of the land

Bhopal. The government has given a big relief to the people occupying the government land, where the records had to be presented till December 31, 2014, which has been extended to December 31, 2020. About thirty thousand families of the capital Bhopal will be directly benefited by this. Under the first rule, so far about 9 thousand 560 families have applied for the ownership rights. In which 2 thousand 453 families have been given the ownership rights of the land. The remaining 3,000 applications are being scrutinised.

Rs 4 per square meter will be the annual land rent.

Work is being done to give the ownership rights of the land to the people who have been occupying the government lands in the urban areas including Idgah Hills for years. The government will have to give land lease to the families occupying government land at an annual land rent of Rs.4 per square metre. Under which only four hundred rupees lease rent will have to be deposited annually for a house of one thousand square feet. The people occupying such lands which were already government, had to pay a premium of five per cent over the current collector guideline rate, which has been reduced to one per cent.

Record of three years will have to be presented

From the year 1989 to December 31, 2014, proof of living for 25 years had to be presented under the right of holding, which has now been reduced to December 31, 2020. Under which the verification of possession till the year-2020 will be done from Google Map. So that it can be ascertained whether the house was built here till 2020 or not.

Changed landuse of 22 places

After changing the land use of land at 22 places in the capital, the number of people taking ownership rights under lien has reached one thousand eight hundred. There are around 7 thousand 200 people in the district, who are living on urban ceiling lands. Out of which the applications of 9 thousand 560 people have reached the collectorate. So far 2500 families have got the ownership rights.

Kolar has the most cases

After changing the landuse, maximum number of applications are coming in Kolar. 1003 applications have come from this tehsil. After this, 262 applications have come from Govindpura, 242 from Bairagarh, 214 from Huzur, 172 from MP Nagar and 19 from the lowest city circle.
