Bhopal. Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) will develop Bagli-Bhairopur and Aerocity Extension Project in an area of 235 hectares. The board approved the budget of Rs 506 crore of the BDA in the presence of the chairman of the authority Krishna Mohan Soni. On this occasion, the proposal of these two new projects was also passed. The special thing is that in the new redevelopment policy of BDA, the proposal to redevelop the already developed multi-storey residential schemes was passed. Five big ongoing projects Lakshminarayan Sharma Aerocity, Raja Bhoj Housing Scheme Gondermau, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Housing Scheme Misrod Phase-2, Misrod Phase-1 and Vidyanagar Phase-2 will also be completed this year. Apart from this, it was decided that all the revenue related works of BDA would be online. Due to which the convenience of the people will also increase and corruption will also end. The budget was presented at 3 pm in the presence of Speaker Krishna Mohan Soni, Vice Speaker Sunil Pandey and Anil Agarwal. All the issues were discussed in about an hour. Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary Kolsani, BDA CEO Buddhesh Vaidya, Joint Collector Rajesh Gupta and other officers were present on the occasion.
506 crore earned, 506 crore spent on schemes
The special thing is that in the financial year 2023-24, BDA has earned an income of Rs 506 crore 53 lakh 41 thousand. While 506 crore 23 lakh 80 thousand rupees have been imposed on various schemes. Prior to this, in the financial year 2022-23, there was an income of Rs 321 crore on a budget of Rs 427 crore. Development work will be done on 500 hectares of land in all the projects. In which development plan roads of 15 km length and 200 km internal roads will be constructed. In these, more than 15 thousand plots have been developed.
This will be special in new plans
– Bagli-Bhairopur scheme will be developed in 135 hectare area
– Aerocity Extension Scheme will be developed in 100 hectare area
Development plan road will be constructed in 8 km length by both the schemes.
Developed plots will be available for residential, commercial and public use in these schemes.
This expansion will happen in old schemes:
Laxminarayan Sharma Aerocity Scheme: 61 LIG, 165 will go to make MIG flats.
Gaurishankar Kaushal Residential Project: New commercial cum residential complex will be constructed in Barrai.
