Actually, Railways has increased the range for purchasing general tickets online from 5 to 22 km. Due to which now people living in places like Bhopal, Kolar, Misrod, Karond, Lalghati etc. will be able to easily book general tickets sitting at home. Thousands of railway passengers of Bhopal will benefit from this scheme. Now they will not need to stand in line at the railway counter for general tickets.
According to the information, the Railway Board has taken this decision keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers traveling in general coaches. The Director (PM) of the Railway Board has given an order to all the zonal railways including the West Central Railway Zone. In this, the range for purchasing ordinary train tickets through Railways’ mobile ticketing app UTS on Mobile Application has been increased from 5 km to 22 km. Now even if your home is 22 km away from the station, you can still buy a paperless general train ticket from home. Due to this, passengers of Bhopal, Itarsi, Bina and other stations of the railway division will be able to get benefits. A trial was going on for this scheme by the Railways for the last few days, which has been successful. After which this scheme has been implemented. Due to this, railway passengers across the country including Bhopal division will benefit. It is quite convenient.
