Bhopal. A speeding dumper crushed a bike rider in front of Naira petrol pump in Runaha located in Nazirabad police station area. He died as the wheel of the dumper ran over his leg. The deceased was on his way to a wedding ceremony when the accident happened. After taking petrol from the petrol pump, as soon as he reached the highway, the dumper hit him. Police has established a mortuary and handed over the dead body to the family members after the PM. The dumper that collided has been seized.
According to the police, Kanha Gurjar’s father Laljiram Gurjar (19) was a resident of village Barkhedi Dev. He used to do farming. He had left home on Friday night to attend a wedding. He was accompanied by a relative on another bike. Both took petrol in their respective bikes at Naira petrol pump located in village Ruhana. Kanha had just reached the highway after taking petrol in the front machine when a speeding dumper coming from behind hit him. The relative present on the spot took him to a private hospital in Karond for treatment, where Kanha died late at night.
The driver ran away leaving the dumper
After the accident, the driver of the dumper fled leaving the dumper. The angry mob broke the glass by pelting stones at the dumper. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and seized the dumper. The accused driver is being searched.
