Bhopal. A mute-deaf BA student hanged herself in Radhapuram Colony Samardha located in Misrod police station area. The family took him out of the trap and took him to AIIMS, where the doctor declared him dead in the preliminary investigation itself. Police has established a mortuary and handed over the dead body to the family members after the PM. No suicide note has been found from the deceased.
Principal Constable Badri Prasad told that Priya Parate’s father late Indrajit Parate (21) lived in Radhapuram Colony Samardha. She was pursuing BA in Indore college. Priya was deaf and could not even hear. She had come to her home during the holidays. Apart from Priya, he has two twin sisters and mother in the house. One sister is married, she lives with her in-laws. The other sister is a soldier in the Home Guard. The family told that around 11 o’clock on Friday night, Priya had hanged herself on the fan with a dupatta in her room. As soon as he was seen, the relatives took him to AIIMS, where the doctor declared him dead.
