Bhopal. The health of the city will improve with the bird sanctuary being built for the migratory birds coming to Bhopal after traveling thousands of miles every year before the cold. The Forest Department will plant trees on a large scale in the protected area. The climate of the city will improve due to increase in greenery. At the same time, there will be no noise in the bird sanctuary, due to which people will also get freedom from noise pollution. Due to the bird sanctuary being developed in 3021.452 hectare by the Forest Department, conservation of local species including migratory birds will be done better. Let us inform that the proposal for the construction of bird sanctuary has been prepared by the Forest Department about four months ago. Bhopal Forest Division, Van Vihar and Environment Forest Division are working jointly for the Bird Sanctuary.

Land will be acquired at these places:
For the forest department bird sanctuary, on the banks of the city’s big pond, Sevaniya Gaur, Bishankhedi, Prempura, Nathu Barkheda, Kotra, Mughaliya Chhap, Bamhori, Lekhpura, Brickkhedi, Khajuri Road, Bakanai, Kolukhedi, Jamunia, Bhainsakhedi, Bairagarh Kala, Behta, Laukhedi. , will acquire land at Borwan, Halalpur, Khanugaon and Kohefija.

These bird sanctuaries are present in the country:
At present, Pangot in Uttarakhand, Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Bharatpur, Jim Corbett National Park, Talchhapar Sanctuary in Rajasthan, Mangalajodi in Odisha, Bannerghatta National Park in Karnataka, Nagarhole National Park, Brahmagiri National Park and Ranganathathu Bird Sanctuary, Puliket birds in Tamil Nadu Sanctuaries and Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary, Neeraghati National Park in West Bengal, Kutch, Bandipur, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Aralam Sanctuary and Thekkady Bird Sanctuary in Kerala, Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary in Haryana, Okhla Bird Sanctuary in UP and Pong Wetland Sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh The name will also be added.

According to Forest Department officials, it will be developed like Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Rajasthan. Birds will be able to breed at this place, due to which biodiversity will also be good. Due to bird sanctuary, birds coming from Himalayas, Europe, Central Asia and Siberia will also be protected. At present, many species of migratory birds have been included in the endangered and some in the endangered species.

Like Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Bhopal, there is a proposal to build a bird sanctuary on 3021.452 hectares of land.
