In the Holi season, instead of increasing, Railways reduced sleeper class bogies in trains, passengers are getting upset

Bhopal. Railways reduced the reason for increasing the number of coaches in trains during the festive season of Holi. Because of this, the passengers are facing a lot of trouble during the journey. A similar case has been seen in the most demanded train number 12185/12186 Rewanchal Express running between Bhopal to Rewa. This train was earlier being operated with 13 sleeper coaches. But at present seven coaches were given less by the Railways. Due to this, this train is currently operating with six sleeper coaches. Due to this, the traffic pressure and waiting list in the train is also increasing. Due to this, passengers traveling by hanging on the gate and fan of the train is increasing. Passengers have complained to the Railways in this regard. On which the Railways has apologized for the convenience of the passengers, citing a technical matter. Sources say that this step was taken by the Railways to benefit the special trains.

According to the information, a person named Shivesh Sharma, angry with the reduction of seven sleeper coaches in train number 12185/12186 Revanchal Express, had complained about the matter to the Railways. In response to this, Bhopal Railway Division officials apologized for the inconvenience and said that it is a policy matter. According to railway sources, not only the trains of North Zone and Bhopal Railway Division, but the number of sleeper coaches has also been reduced in trains of other zones and divisions across the country. So that the passenger load can be met in the special trains run by the Railways during festivals and other seasons. In fact, in these trains, 15 to 30 percent more fare is charged from the passengers by the Railways.

Passengers are traveling by tying a hammock in Pushpak Express

Trains did not increase the number of sleeper coaches during the festive season, on one hand passengers had to face trouble while going home on Holi. So there the difficulty in returning is also not taking the name of reducing. Similar view was seen in Pushpak Express passing through Bhopal. Passengers were seen traveling in the sleeper coach of this train by tying a sheet to the fan. In this regard, an attempt was made to talk to CPRO of North Zone, Rahul Srivastava. But he could not be contacted.
