Bhopal. On the complaint of BHMS student, the Kohefija police has registered a case against the auto driver under theft and other sections. The student alleges that she boarded a private auto from Bairagarh railway station to reach Lalghati. The auto driver brought him properly till the Reliance Petrol Pump, then increased the speed of the auto and tried to take him towards the streets. He asked the auto driver to stop the auto, but he started threatening.
Therefore, the student had to jump from the moving auto and got injured. Here, the auto driver ran away with her bag and purse. Vivo company’s old mobile in the bag and cash of five thousand rupees in the purse. The police have registered the case and started searching for the accused auto driver.
According to the police, the 24-year-old girl is originally from Indore. She is living in a rented house in Lalghati and doing internship of BHMS. He told the police that he hired an auto to reach Lalghati from Bairagarh station at around 5 pm on Sunday. Talked to the auto driver for 100 rupees and she sat in the auto carrying her luggage. The auto driver came properly till the shop of Reliance Petrol Pump Kalu Pathaka and then increased the speed of the auto. He started taking auto in the street without asking. When the student asked him where the auto was taking, he started threatening her. Sensing the intention of the accused, the student jumped from the auto as soon as the speed reduced. Due to jumping from the moving auto, he has got injuries in his body including knee and shoulder. Even after the student jumped, the accused did not stop the auto and fled with the bag. When the victim inquired from the people around, they told that the auto is run by a young man named Rahul James. The police have registered the case and started searching for the accused.
