Bhopal, In the meeting chaired by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister approved the Ladli Bahna scheme today. After the meeting, the Chief Minister informed about it, describing it as a historic decision. He said that for the empowerment of sisters, for the empowerment of women, today our cabinet has taken a very historic decision. In the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, any class, any caste has a sister, she will get the benefit of the scheme.
This will be eligible for the scheme
The Chief Minister said that ₹ 1000 per month will be deposited in the accounts of sisters whose age is more than 23 years. Old age pension scheme is applicable for above 60 years of age. But she gets ₹ 600 now. By adding this amount to it, they will reduce it to ₹ 1000 minimum. Sisters above 60 years will get ₹ 1000. We will start taking applications for this scheme from 5th March.
Will launch the plan on March 5
Chief Minister Chouhan said that we will launch this scheme on March 5, but after that applications will be filled from March 15 after Holi and Rang Panchami. This application is very simple. Sisters don’t have to go anywhere for this. The team will come to fill the application in his village itself. Apart from our administrative staff, social workers will also be present to help in filling the form. The work of filling this application will be completed in March-April.
Camps will be organized to fill applications
The Chief Minister said that even in urban wards, if the wards in Nagar Panchayats are small, only one camp will be organized to fill the applications. If the wards are large in metropolitan cities, camps will be organized even after dividing the wards. Elaborate arrangements will be made for filling the application easily and smoothly. I have full faith that the sister will use this money only for empowering the family, for the betterment of the family.
