Jammu Kashmir Encounter: The encounter between security forces and terrorists that started on Saturday evening in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir is still going on. So far one terrorist has been killed in this encounter. Firing is still going on from both the sides. According to media reports, this encounter is going on in Bariyama area of Rajouri. By deploying additional security forces, all escape routes of the terrorists have been sealed and efforts are being made to trace their hideouts.
Army had launched a joint operation
A manhunt was launched on Saturday by the Rashtriya Rifles of the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police to nab the terrorists responsible for the death of three army personnel on Friday. During an operation, the soldiers were killed while trying to nab terrorists in Halan forests of Kulgam district. It was told from the army officer that this area was a very rough place.

Para military commandos were also called
Giving information on behalf of an army officer, it was said that Para Military Commandos have also been called to assist in this operation. Last night, there was intense firing by the terrorists. However, the army has also retaliated. Also, said that drones and sniffer dogs are being used to find the terrorists. The security forces have closed all the escape routes of the terrorists and efforts are on to eliminate them.
Army asks people to stay away from the area
The army has cordoned off the entire area and appealed to the people to stay at a distance of about two kilometers for their safety. It has also been advised not to come near the security cordon.
