In this operation, two terrorists were killed on Tuesday. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from both of them. Earlier this month i.e. on June 2, a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. A defense official said that a joint cordon and search operation was launched by the army and police after suspicious activity was noticed in the forest area of Dasal Gujran near Rajouri. He said the search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire on the security forces and the army retaliated to their shelling. In this one terrorist was killed and arms and ammunition were recovered from him during the search.
