Jammu-Kashmir: BSF kills illegal infiltrator in Samba sector, search operation continues

The BSF jawans, once again showing their courage in the security of the Indian border, have turned a blind eye to the illegal intrusion into the Indian border from the Pakistani side. A suspected Pakistani infiltrator was gunned down by the Border Security Force on the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district in the early hours of Thursday. BSF officials said that the incident took place at around 2.50 am near Mangu Chak border outpost in Samba sector.

BSF jawans noticed suspicious movement along the International Border at BOP Mangu Chak and then fired upon it. In this, that illegal infiltrator was killed. Also, BSF has launched a search operation along the International Border in Samba sector.

Earlier also such attempt failed

Earlier on April 22 also, BSF had carried out such a big action. BSF jawans had arrested an illegal Pakistani national crossing the Indian border in Firozpur sector of Punjab. Also, earlier in the month of March also, BSF had seen such a major action from Firozpur sector of Punjab itself. The illegal infiltrator who was apprehended from Firozpur in Punjab was identified as a resident of Khyber district of Pakistan. BSF arrested him and searched him. Earlier in November last year too, Border Security Force personnel had foiled two attempts of illegal infiltration. Both these attempts of illegal infiltration took place on the international border. A Pakistani infiltrator trying to enter the Indian side was gunned down in the Arnia sector adjacent to the India-Pakistan border in the Jammu-Kashmir division. Along with this, a similar infiltration was also observed in Ramgarh sector of Samba district, following which BSF personnel arrested the intruder.
