According to the Budgam police, on March 8, a report was lodged by Tanveer Ahmed Khan at the Soibugh police station, stating that his sister had left for a coaching class on March 7, but did not return home. After this the police registered the case and investigation was started. During this, the police had detained several suspects including Shabbir Ahmed Wani. After this, the police told that after continuous questioning, Shabbir Ahmed Wani confessed to killing the missing girl.

On this matter, the police said that in order to hide the crime, the culprit had cut the dead body into pieces and buried it at different places. After confessing the crime on his tip on Saturday, all the body parts have been recovered from different places. On the murder case, the police officer said that after confessing to the murder, Wani disclosed how he killed the woman and disposed of the body.

According to media reports, the real motive of the murder is not yet clear. Relatives of the woman alleged that the man had earlier met her family for marriage, but the woman had rejected his marriage proposal.

Let us tell you that even before this, a 27-year-old woman Shraddha was murdered by her boyfriend Aftab Poonawala in Delhi and the body was cut into 35 pieces and thrown in the jungles. He kept these pieces in the fridge before throwing them in the forest.
