Sometimes some drug consignment is sent to India through drones from Pakistan side and sometimes terrorists try to enter the Indian border, but the security forces on the Indian border thwart all these activities. Now a new case is coming to the fore in this episode. In the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, some terrorists were trying to infiltrate from the Pakistan side in the early hours of Sunday morning. After this, the security forces took strict action and started firing on those terrorists, while firing was also done from the side of the terrorists.
What did the officers of the security forces tell
After foiling the infiltration bid across the LoC, security forces officials said the infiltration bid was foiled in Shahpur sector when army personnel guarding the LoC spotted the terrorists in the wee hours. He further said that there was fierce firing between the two sides which continued for a long time. At the same time, officials say that after this terrorist activity, the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation is being conducted to find out for what purpose these terrorists had entered the Indian border.
This is not the first incident in Jammu and Kashmir, such infiltration attempts have been made many times by Pakistan. In October last year also, some terrorists were trying to infiltrate in Karmada sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces deployed in this sector noticed some suspicious movement. After this the security forces started firing. There was firing from the other side as well. Some bombs were also hurled by the terrorists. However, no casualty was reported in this incident. After this, an alert was issued in the entire area and a search operation was launched.
