Yamunanagar: In a village under Sadar Jagadhri police station, a young man raped a girl by seducing her. The victim filed a complaint against the youth. The police took up a case against the youth and initiated investigations.

The girl, a resident of Sadar Jagadhari village in the police station area, said she was acquainted with a young man named Amit Verma. On November 19, 2022, the defendant called him for a meeting. When she wanted to meet the defendant, the defendant raped her by seducing her. The defendant also threatened to kill him if he told anyone about it. The girl said that the accused also blackmailed her afterwards and had relationships with her several times. Dismayed, he told the family about the incident. The relatives informed the police about the incident. After investigating the matter, the police took action by opening a case against the accused youth.
