Immediately after receiving the information, the police were on site and began investigating. The police carried out the autopsy and handed over the body to the relatives. The deceased’s relatives testified that he had been addicted to alcohol and mentally disturbed for a long time.
Sachin, 33, a resident of Durga Garden Colony, HUDA Sector 17, used to work in a clothes shop in Tirth Nagar. He was addicted to alcohol and mentally disturbed in the last few days. His wife had gone to her mother’s house with her little girl. He was home alone. Meanwhile, Sachin committed suicide by hanging himself inside the house. Someone informed the police and family members. Immediately after receiving the information, the police were there and took the body out of the sling and intervened on the basis of the deceased’s relatives and handed it over to the relatives after the autopsy.
Arjun Nagar Police Station chief Rajat, who is investigating the case, said Sachin used to drink alcohol and was mentally disturbed for a few days. A bottle of liquor was also found on him. Investigations into the matter are currently underway. The situation will only be clarified after the investigation is completed.
