Yamunanagar: In the city, a young man had a relationship with an underage girl for about a year. The matter came to light when the girl became pregnant. The victim’s family members refused to do anything about the case. Later, the youth welfare office advised the girl, after which the police initiated proceedings against the accused youth and initiated measures.
A young man named Vishal lives in the neighborhood of a girl who lives in a colony in the city and with whom she is well acquainted. Both had known each other for about three years. Both started dating. There was often a relationship between the two. One day the girl had stomach pains and the family took her to the hospital. Upon examination, it was found that the girl is pregnant in the first month. When the matter was reported to the police, the police went to the girl at the hospital. But the girl refused to give a statement. The girl’s relatives also refused to take action on the matter. When the matter reached the Child Welfare Committee, committee member Neera Jain counseled the girl and her family members. The police then took action by initiating proceedings against the accused youth on the basis of the girl’s statement.
