News from Yamuna Nagar: A Haryana Roadways bus crushed a 12th grade student walking to class near the police line on Jagadhri-Ambala road. The student died on the spot in the accident. Student Abhiday Maheshwari (18) studied at St. Thomas School. Immediately after receiving the information, the police and relatives were on site. The police took the body into custody and kept it in the autopsy house. Because of the student’s death, the relatives are crying and in a bad state. The police have started proceedings against the accused bus driver and are investigating.

According to the information, Sandeep Maheshwari, a resident of Ansal city, said that he had an electrical appliances shop in front of Jagadhari Civil Hospital. His older son, Abhiday, attended Year 12 at St Thomas School. On Thursday evening around 4.15pm his son went to Jagadhri to take tutoring lessons on his Activa. When he got just short of the police line on Ambala Road towards Jagadhri, he was hit by the road bus coming from behind at high speed. The driver is accused of intentionally and negligently driving the bus. As soon as the bus collided, his son lost control and crashed onto the street with the Activa. Then the bus ran him over. After the accident, a crowd gathered on the spot. The suspected bus driver fled the scene. People took his son to the hospital. Where the doctor pronounced him dead. Upon being informed of the accident, the police reached the spot and took the body and kept it in the autopsy house. Due to the accidental death of the student, the relatives are crying in a bad state.

Yakub, a Mandauli resident, said in a complaint to the city police station that he had a lathe shop near Satyam Dharmakanta on Khajuri Road. His younger brother Ibrahim (27) worked with him in the shop. On Thursday morning around nine o’clock both came from home to the workshop with their respective bicycles. When his brother Ibrahim arrived near VK Plywood at around 9:30 am, the tractor driver coming from the front at high speed collided with his bicycle. As a result of the collision, his brother and his bicycle fell onto the street. The tractor’s front wheel ran over his brother, who fell onto the road. His brother died instantly in the accident. There was a crowd there. The accused driver then fled from there and took the opportunity. With the help of the environment, he took his brother to the hospital. Where the doctor confirmed his death. When the police received the information, the police arrived at the scene, took the body into custody and handed it over to the relatives after the autopsy. SI Kushal Pal says police have opened an investigation by registering a case against the accused tractor driver.
