Former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda said: Despite the government’s announcement that mustard sourcing had not started, farmers were upset

Haryana Budget Meeting: Former Prime Minister and opposition leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda has raised the issue of losses to farmers from not sourcing mustard. Hooda said that despite the government’s announcement, sourcing of mustard in the Mandis has not yet started. Because of this, farmers are very upset. They have to sell their harvest 1000-1500 rupees less than MSP. The situation is that somewhere the agency does not reach for the purchase, and somewhere does not open the portal. The fear of worsening weather also concerns the farmers who have climbed the Mandi from above. Mustard farmers, who have already faced the brunt of the weather, are now facing the brunt of the government’s delay.

Hooda said he has been urging the government to start sourcing mustard as soon as possible for nearly a month. Because the farmers had begun to reach the mandis with their crops. But the government consistently ignored her request. Farmers suffer as a result. Hooda reiterated the call to start sourcing immediately and also called for compensation for the loss of farmers selling crops at low prices. Earlier, the opposition leader spoke on several issues at the gathering. Speaking about the alcohol fraud, he called for a CBI investigation into the entire matter. Hooda has reiterated many times that the government has a cover-up on everything from bogus alcohol to lockdown alcohol scams. In the name of the investigation, the government is trying to save big crocodiles by taking action on a few small fish. A fair investigation into the matter is therefore necessary. Hooda asked the government in the House of Representatives for clarification on the minister accused of molestation. He said it was necessary for a fair investigation into the matter that the minister resigned from his post.

Before that, a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party was held, chaired by Bhupinder Hooda. All questions that should be addressed within the assembly were discussed. Congress announced support for the Sarpanches agitating against electronic bidding and called for its abolition.
