Jhajjar: A woman and her five-month-old son were killed while her husband and brother-in-law were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place near the village of Hasanpur on Kosli Road in the area late Wednesday night. The deceased have been identified as Jyoti’s wife Pradeep and Ayansh’s son Pradeep, residents of Paldi Panihara village in Mahendragarh. Upon learning of the incident, which took place around 11:45 am, the police arrived and took the injured to the local civilian hospital for treatment. Here doctors pronounced Jyoti and Ayansh dead while her seriously injured husband Pradeep and brother-in-law Vijaypal were referred to Rohtak PGI after first aid. When they arrived at the relatives on Thursday, the bodies of the mother and son were being autopsied. Case investigator Kulveer Singh said a case was brought against the accused motorist following a complaint by the deceased’s father. Further measures in this regard will be implemented by the police in accordance with the regulations. After the autopsy of the bodies, the relatives were handed over.
In the complaint to the police, Satyaveer, a resident of Jhuljhuli in Jafarpur, Delhi, said his son-in-law Pradeep came to meet him on Wednesday along with his brother Vijaypal and daughter Jyoti and daughter Ayansh. After that, when he returned home, this accident happened. At around eleven o’clock at night, he received information that his son-in-law’s car had an accident near Fatehpuri Mode in Hasanpur village and he was taken to the city’s government hospital for treatment. After that, when he reached the civil hospital, he learned that his daughter and daughter-in-law had died while his son-in-law and brother were referred to Rohtak with PGI.
