Jind news:Anti-Corruption Bureau Division Rohtak on Wednesday arrested the computer operator of the DFAC office red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 in return for releasing the payment. The ACB team is inquiring about the involvement of other people.

Jakhal resident Amar Jindal said in his complaint to the Anti-Corruption Bureau that he had a rice mill in Narwana. His payment for the year 2022-23 and payment for transport expenses amounting to Rs 2 lakh 75,000 were pending. Of this, Rs 5 lakh 85,000 had already been paid. Asin Khan, the computer operator of the DFAC office, is demanding three percent in lieu of releasing the payment. The amount was transferred by the FCI to the DFAC office 20 days ago. Based on the complaint, the anti-corruption bureau formed a raid team. Its command was handed over to ACB DSP Sumit Kumar. XEN Gagan Pandey of Electricity Corporation Rohtak has been posted as duty judge while SDO Narendra Kumar of Electricity Corporation has been appointed as shadow witness. The raid team handed over an amount of Rs 15,000 to the complainant after it was signed and powdered by the magistrate on duty. According to the plan, when the complainant contacted the computer operator, he called him to the DFSC office in the Mini Secretariat. As soon as the signal was received, the raiding party overpowered Asin Khan and looted the bribe amount of Rs 15,000 from his possession. When I washed my hands they turned red. The Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against computer operator Asin Khan under the Anti-Corruption Act and started questioning him.

DSP Sumit Kumar said he caught the computer operator red-handed taking bribe in return for handing over the money. The defendant is being questioned about the involvement of other people.
