Jind News: Interior Minister Anil Vij conducted a surprise inspection of the Sadar police station in Narvana on Sunday afternoon. Five police officers, including the police officer responsible, were suspended with immediate effect because the check revealed that the records were incorrect and other deficiencies were discovered. The Home Secretary warned that negligence at work will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Interior Minister Anil Vij was on his way from Ambala to Hisar on Sunday afternoon when his convoy suddenly pulled into Sadar Police Station on the Hisar Chandigarh National Highway. The Home Secretary conducted a surprise inspection of the police station. The records were found to be incorrect. The inspection also revealed a number of other deficiencies. Home Secretary Anil Vij then suspended Sub-Inspectors Balwan Singh, Munshi Havildar Ramniwas, Havaldar Sandeep, Constable Raman and Computer Operator Constable Kuldeep from Sadar Police Station Narvana with immediate effect. Interior Minister Anil Vij stayed at the police station for almost 20 minutes. Upon examining the records, he found that they were incorrect.
The police officers present at the scene could not give a satisfactory answer. The Home Secretary also chided police officers for keeping records in order, saying clearly that negligence at work will not be tolerated under any circumstances. After that, Interior Minister Anil Vij traveled to Hisar.
