Police Superintendent Sumit Kumar, after receiving a complaint about the taking of money for the police’s passport check at Safidon Sadar Police Station, queued 6 police officers and officials, including station chief Krishna Kumar. In his place, Dr. Sunil Kumar appointed head of the police station. Additional employees and executives were also appointed.

Police had received a complaint that the Home Guard Jawans take money from those who come to Sadar Thana Safidon for police verification. Many people require a police check to obtain a passport. After receiving the complaint, the police launched an investigation. The allegations turned out to be true during the investigation. Thereafter, Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar, who took stern notice of this, Station Superintendent Krishna Kumar, two Jawans of the Home Guard, a Sub-Inspector and an ASI, including 6 clerks and officers, were present on the line.
