Restraint for crooks: fireworks with bullets had to be expensive, challan of 38,000

Kurukshetra News: The Kurukshetra District Police have begun cracking down on those using bullet motorbikes to pop crackers. Superintendent of Police Kurukshetra Surendra Singh Bhoria has ordered all police station chiefs to take action against bullet-wielding motorcyclists who are spreading noise pollution by bursting firecrackers onto motorbikes and harassing the general public. By order of Police Superintendent Kurukshetra, Ladwa Police Station has fined a youth Rs 38,500 for bursting crackers with a bullet motorbike.

Sub-Inspector Ramsnehi, head of Ladwa Police Station, shared information and said that the Superintendent had ordered the police to crack down on drivers who engaged in hooliganism by setting off firecrackers with spherical motorcycles. He said that in compliance with these orders, on March 3, 2023, during the stop, the Ladwa Police Station team, a motorcyclist resident in the Ladwa Police Station area, was challenged for Rs.38,500. The motorcycle was confiscated during the inspection because the youth did not have the motorcycle’s papers. The station chief in charge said the police team received information that this young man on a motorcycle was setting off firecrackers in front of IGN College Ladwa. According to the information, the control team from the Ladwa Police Station overpowered the motorcyclist and he was prosecuted under the Motor Vehicles Act.

If fireworks with bullets are fired, you will have to pay heavy damages

The chief of police appealed to ordinary citizens, especially young people, that in future no motorcyclist should let firecrackers burst on their motorcycles, as this would cause noise pollution, and the loud bang of firecrackers could cause a serious accident out of fear. He said legal action would be taken against him in the future if a motorcyclist who was shot sets off firecrackers on a motorcycle. If the Superintendent of Police swaps the Bullet motorcycle’s muffler to the shopkeepers, specifically the shopkeepers who fix the Bullet motorcycle, legal action will be taken against them.

The Superintendent of Police provided information and said the district had received complaints about people popping crackers with shot motorcycles. Considering the convenience of the common man, the drivers who pop firecrackers with shot motorcycles are challenged by the district police by conducting a special campaign. He said that this campaign is ongoing.
