Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal emphasized the creation of more employment opportunities for the youth and directed the officials of the Department of Youth Promotion and Entrepreneurship to improve the skills of the youth according to the demand for skills in the industry and meet their desired requirements. The Prime Minister chaired the meeting to review the progress of the work assigned to the different departments according to age group. He directed officials at the Department of Women and Child Development to expedite the process to identify children who go to anganwadi centers and madrassas outside of school.

The Chief Minister said that with the help of Anganwadi staff in the state, the children of Gurukul and other private institutions have also been instructed to update and upload the data regularly. He said smartphones should be made available to Anganwadi workers who collect children’s data, keep records and verify the data.

To reduce malnutrition among children aged 0 to 6 in the state, the Chief Minister asked officials to assess children’s body mass index and post it twice a week to the state and central government’s Bharat Poshan portal upload the state’s Citizen Resource Information Department update instructions. He ordered the data of single people, students, working youth, seniors, construction workers and people with disabilities to be regularly uploaded and updated on CRID’s dashboard along with the date in the family card.

The chief minister directed officials to identify single children or orphans in the state and register them in government-established child care homes. He directed school education department officials to expedite the process of verifying the date of birth and Aadhaar card of citizens in the 6-18 age group, as all school education department teachers should receive data verification and verification of citizens around their school Task of update has been delegated.

The prime minister said the state government maintains the data of everyone living in the state for the benefit of all sections of society.
