Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has expanded its Redmi A2 series. The company has launched two entry-level phones named Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 plus. The new handsets come with MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, Android Go software, and a host of great features.

Redmi A2, Redmi A2 Plus price

Redmi has announced the launch of both the phones through its websites, but hasn’t revealed the price. The phones are available in Black, Light Green and Light Blue. They will be available in 2GB & 32GB and 3GB & 32GB RAM and storage configurations. Prices will be revealed soon.

Almost all the specs are the same in both the latest launched smartphones. Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus come with 6.52-inch HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The phones are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 processor, coupled with up to 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both the phones come with microSD card support for expandable storage.

The Redmi A2 series phones come equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The phone has connectivity features such as Dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port support for charging. Coming to the cameras, the handsets come equipped with an 8-megapixel primary sensor with a QVGA lens and LED flash on their back panels. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
