Kurukshetra News: by Haryana A high-profile case of the rape of a 16-year-old underage girl by a police chief has come to light at the Babain police station in Kurukshetra district. As soon as the matter became known, the police administration took action, arranged for the minor to be medically examined and arrested the accused police chief, Shyam Lal.
Please let us know that the 16 year old girl left home a few days ago. After that she returned home herself. Instead of dropping her case, Police Chief Shyam Lal called the underage girl to the police station, took her to the police station friend’s room and raped her. When the girl returned home after the rape, she told her family members about the ordeal. The relatives then filed a complaint with the police. The police took action and arrested the accused chief of police. At the same time, family members demanded the harshest punishment for the accused.
After the rape incident at the police station, Police Commissioner Surendra Singh Bhauria visited Babain Police Station and said strict action would be taken against the culprits. The accused police chief himself will be released today. The SP announced that the accused had been arrested and that the victim’s medical examination had also been carried out. The victim is fine now. Shahabad DSP Randhir Singh is investigating the matter.
