Bihar Child Falls Borewell: A three-year-old child fell into a deep borewell on Sunday i.e. today in Kul village of Nalanda, Bihar. After this there has been a stir in the area. NDRF and SDRF teams from Patna started the rescue operation. After this, efforts are being made to get the child out of the borewell. A pit has been dug near the borewell and the child is being given oxygen through a pipe.

Silva Circle Officer Shambhu Mandal said that we received information that a child has fallen into the borewell. We are trying our best to save the child. NDRF and rescue teams have reached the spot. He also said that the child is still alive and his voice can be heard. Also, the official said that the entire area has been cordoned off in view of the rescue operation and medical teams equipped with oxygen facilities are also present there to provide immediate medical help to the child. JCB machines have been deployed to supply oxygen and get the child out of the borewell.

Nalin Maurya, vice-president of Nalanda Nagar Panchayat, said that 3-year-old Shubham Kumar was playing near an open borewell being dug by a farmer for boring. However, this borewell was not working properly, so the farmer had started boring at another place and left this borewell open. After this Shubham fell into this open borewell.
