Panchkula: Due to the incessant rains and flooding in Pinjore, mountain debris fell on a house, killing three people. They include 20-year-old Akash, a Pinjore resident, and his younger sister, five-year-old Priya, and seven-year-old nephew Karthik. When the incident happened, he was having dinner at home. Lady Dhanwanti was also sitting with him. After receiving the information, the police and fire brigade team arrived at the site and attempted to extricate them from the rubble.

It is said that his house is built at the foot of the mountain. The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. Due to the heavy rain, debris slid off the mountain and fell on the house. At that time, Akash, his younger sister Priya and nephew Karthik were having dinner. Meanwhile, Dhanwanti ran outside to save her life, but Akash, Karthik, and Priya were buried under the rubble. As soon as the information arrived, there was a commotion among the people nearby, everyone ran and began clearing the rubble. The bodies of Akash and Karthik were recovered from the rubble. People are busy looking for Priya.

The police and fire brigade were informed of the accident. Three firefighters and two police officers arrived on behalf of the rescue team for relief and rescue work. Those who did not have special equipment so that relief work could be accelerated. Hawa Singh, Ankur, Sheela and Kuldeep, who live here, have been clearing the rubble along with others. It is important that the NDRF team could not be on site even after about six hours after the accident.
