According to the information, the victim, Vivek Walia, a resident of Chandigarh, filed a complaint that he had contacted the above-named person on behalf of a medical school seat through an advertisement published in the newspaper. The one who said that he will get you a place in Bathinda Medical College for which it would cost 2 lakh rupees separately and said that he would refund all your money if he couldn’t get the place and if you don’t want the seat, then later. You will get Rs 1 lakh.

The victim refused admission to the said college and asked to return my Rs 1 lakh. The person refused to return the money and said he would arrange 1 seat in the central quota which cost Rs 60,000 in installments. Afterwards, when the victim felt that this person was cheating on him when the person asked him for his money, he refused to give the money and said that you will get your money next year and the above person took 5 Lakh rupees from the victim .had taken

Afterwards he said that he needed 5,000 rupees for his son’s work and he would return the money after a week. This person cheated the victim out of around 11 lakh rupees about which a complaint was lodged with Sector 5 Police Station, upon whose complaint BDS A case was registered under section 406/420/386/506/120B of Sector 5 Police Station. Yesterday, March 4, while further investigations into the case were ongoing, the main suspect in the fraud was arrested. The arrested accused was brought before the court and taken into police custody for 5 days.
