Karnataka: A youth from Bhambarheri village was kidnapped and murdered. The family members of the deceased have accused the youth of the village of committing the crime. The youth’s body was recovered from the bushes near the bus stand near Katlehari village. The police took possession of the body and began an investigation. It is believed that the crime was committed because of a romantic relationship. The deceased teenager is said to be the only son of the family. The police are investigating the matter.
The deceased youth lived with his maternal uncle
Karmjeet, maternal uncle of Shubham, a resident of late Babrehari, said that his nephew lived with him in nearby Ghoghadipur village. At around 9 a.m. he rode his bike to the village of Bambaredi to pick up his mother. After that, this accident happened. On the way, his nephew was kidnapped by villains. When Shubham didn’t come home for a long time, he called him but he didn’t pick up the phone. Later, when Shubham’s mother called him, the miscreants picked up the phone. During this time, Shubham’s shouting could be heard on the phone. After that, the connection to his phone was disconnected.
Alleged case of a love affair
The deceased’s maternal uncle Karmjeet said that about a year ago, a girl from Shubham village called. When the girl’s family came to know about this, they beat Shubham severely. After that, also three days ago, the same family members of the girl threatened to kill Shubham in Karnal. When Shubham was beaten by the girl’s family members, a panchayat was held in the village itself. The matter was resolved at that time. Even after that, some youths from the village continued to threaten Shubham. Just three days ago they surrounded Shubham and threatened him and even after that the panchayat met. Even in the panchayat, the accused threatened to kill Shubham. Out of fear, Shubham was sent to Karmjeet by his parents. Today he was kidnapped and murdered.
The police recovered the body from the bushes
Nissing police station SHO Jangsher Singh said the youth’s body was found in the bushes near the bus stand of Katlehari village. He was murdered by stabbing with a sharp weapon. The teenager’s bicycle was also found in the bushes near the body. The police have started investigating. On the orders of Karnal SP Deepak Saharan, police teams have been formed to search for the accused. SP says the accused will be arrested soon and the murder case will be unraveled.
