Kurukshetra: In the case of demanding Rs 10 lakh by threatening to make an obscene video viral, police arrested two accused: Rajesh Kumar and Mukli Devi, wife Sonu, residents of Bulan police station in Khanauri district, Sangrur Punjab. The police are interrogating the accused in the case.

In a complaint to the police, a resident of Pipli said that on September 16, an obscene video arrived on his phone with a message about a call in English. When he called that cell phone number, he didn’t pick up the phone. When he made a WhatsApp call, the person on the other end demanded Rs 10 lakh and threatened him to make the obscene video viral among his relatives and on Facebook. On the afternoon of September 21, he received a call on his cell phone from two unknown cell phone numbers and said that there was luggage for you on a chair near the front gate of your house. Be careful with that luggage.

When he came out of the house and picked up a plastic bag lying under the chair near the gate, he found a USB stick and two OTGs on which a demand of Rs 10 lakh was written. Two days were given for this. Based on this complaint, a case was registered at Sadar Thanesar police station and the investigation was transferred to Sector 4 police post, Kurukshetra. Sub-Inspector Surendra Singh’s team from Sector 4 Kurukshetra police outpost of Sadar Thanser police station arrested two accused in the case of demanding Rs 10 lakh by threatening to make an obscene video viral and produced them before the court and on the orders of the court. Sent to prison.
