Kaithal: ADJ Sangeeta Rai Sachdev’s court sentenced Bhola and Nawab, convicted in a murder case, to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 40,000 each. If the fine is not paid, the perpetrators must serve an additional sentence of six months. In this regard, the brother of the deceased, Naubat Singh, had lodged a complaint at Rajound police station.

DDA Jai Bhagwan Goyal, who argued the case on behalf of the prosecution, said that on June 12, 2011, Raj Singh was lying down after eating. This time he received a call from an unknown person and Raja Singh left the house on a bike saying that he had just come but did not return home at night. The family waited for him until around 3 a.m. After this, Naubat searched here and there for his brother Raja Singh but could not find him anywhere. At around 5:30 am, he came to know that there was a body and a motorcycle lying on Rajound Mandwal Road. After getting this information, Naubat along with other family members reached the place and saw that there was the body of his brother Raja Singh lying there with a lot of blood coming out of his head, eyes and ears and a motorcycle was also on the spot lay. Found. Tire tracks from an unknown vehicle were also found there.

He expressed suspicion that some unidentified people called Raja Singh, murdered him and then drove a car over his head. During investigation, police registered a case and arrested Ashu, a resident of Baraut UP. Ashu told that he and the Nawab, a resident of Bhola, Kerana, had to give the money to Raja Singh. There have been many arguments on this matter. Ultimately, Nawab, Bhola, Ashu and Usman together killed Raja Singh by hitting him with an iron rod and driving a cart over his head. The police prepared the challan and submitted it to the court. A total of 34 witnesses were presented in the case. ADJ Sangeeta Rai Sachdev, after hearing both sides, found Bhola and Nawab guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment. Let us tell you that in this case, Ashu was convicted in 2013 and Usman in 2019. At that time, Bhola and Nawab were declared refugees by the court. One of them was arrested in 2020 and the other in 2021.
