Kaithal: ACB caught Pax Bank’s auditor red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 1 lakh

Kaithal: The Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau team has arrested the employee of Titaram Co-operative Society red-handed while he was taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. The ACB team took the accused auditor with them and registered a corruption case against him.

According to the information, Pax Bank was established in Titaram village. Auditor Roshan Lal had come here for the last 10 days to conduct the audit. During the audit, he raised objections against the manager and pointed out numerous deficiencies in the documents. In return for removing the objection, a demand of Rs 1 lakh was made by PACS manager Amrit Lal. Manager Amrit Lal informed this to ACB’s Kaithal team. The team was constituted under the chairmanship of in-charge Sube Singh. According to the team, as soon as the manager Roshan Lal handed over a bribe of one lakh after 5 pm and the accused examiner Roshan Lal advanced on his bike with the amount, the ACB team, waiting for the opportunity, raided the JBN from the school Titaram. He was caught red-handed in the middle of the street. When the team searched him, a bribe amount of Rs 1 lakh was recovered from his possession. The team arrested him, gave him a medical examination and filed a complaint against him. ACB inspector-in-charge Sube Singh said that the team arrested auditor Roshan Lal, who took a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. The team’s campaign against corrupt employees and managers continues.
