Gurugram: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) team caught Sector 32 Excise and Taxes Officer Gurugram in the act on Monday when he accepted a Rs 25,000 bribe instead of updating the GST number. The accused ETO had previously taken a laptop from the complainant as a bribe. FBI spokesman Jitendra Kumar said indicted ETO Amit Dhanda would appear in court on Tuesday.
According to the information, an anti-corruption bureau complainant said that excise and tax officer Amit Dhanda is asking for a bribe of Rs. 25,000 for updating his GST number. ETO had previously taken a laptop from the complainant as a bribe. According to this information, the anti-corruption bureau team raided Monday and arrested the accused Amit Dhanda red-handed while stealing Rs 25,000. The Anti-Corruption Bureau team interrogated the accused. It will also be presented to the court on Tuesday.
