Jhajjar: Youth injured in road accident dies in PGI

Jhajjar: A young man who was injured in a road accident near Yakubpur village on Gurugram Road died during treatment at PGI. After receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot and, following a complaint from the family members of the deceased, registered a case and initiated an investigation.

In the complaint lodged with the police, Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Saraula village, said that on December 10, he went to Gurugram in a car with his friend Ajit, a resident of his village, and Rishiraj, a resident of Khuddan village. Rishiraj was driving the car at high speed. In such a situation, he also asked him to slow down, but he did not accept it. Due to this, while trying to overtake a truck, the vehicle collided with the divider when it arrived near Yakubpur village. He and his companion Ajit sustained serious injuries in the collision. Subsequently, with the help of an ambulance, both were taken to the local Civil Hospital for treatment where doctors referred them to Rohtak PGI after providing first aid considering the serious condition of both. After this, Ajit died during treatment at PGI. The complainant has blamed Rishiraj for this incident. The police have registered a case in this regard and taken further action as per the rules.
