Jhajjar: A speeding car hit a bike near Kasni village on Jhajjar-Kosli road around 11 am on Monday. The cyclist couple was seriously injured in the accident. Passersby took the seriously injured couple to the local civil hospital for treatment where doctors declared them brought dead. The deceased were Gaurishankar and Kiran, residents of Mundahera. As soon as the information came, the police team arrived at the spot and began investigations.
In the complaint filed with the police, the deceased’s son Lokesh said that his parents left Mundahera for personal work in the morning from Mundahera to Jhajjar. Meanwhile, they were hit in the middle of the road by a car coming from the front, leaving both of them seriously injured. The injured were taken to hospital by passers-by for treatment. Where the doctors declared both of them dead. Investigating officer Rajesh Kumar said that a case was initiated on the complaint of the deceased’s son Lokesh. After the autopsy, the bodies were handed over to the relatives. The police will take further action in this regard as per the regulations.
